Overachiever Lauren is suddenly on her own after her boyfriend breaks up with her. Free-spirited Katie is about to lose a dream apartment unless she can find a roommate. They reluctantly agree to room together even though they have nothing in common, until Lauren discovers that Katie is working as a phone-sex operator and decides to get in on a good business opportunity.
