On parental leave to help raise his daughter, Amy, respected psychologist Carter Nix shows terrifying signs of a psychotic break. His obsessive behavior toward Amy alarms his cheating wife, Jenny, to the danger, but nothing prepares her for Nick's multiple personalities and a gruesome plot akin to that of Nick's demented father.
